An interview with the perfumer who creates the Mondmorrea Scent collection — the philosophy, the process, and the obsessions.
## On the Philosophy

## On the Creative Process
Every Mondmorrea fragrance begins with a mood board — not images, but words. Emotions. States of being. The perfumer writes them in a notebook: *"confidence that does not need to announce itself"*, *"the cool side of a marble floor"*, *"the first hour after rain on hot tarmac."*
From there, the process is iterative. Hundreds of trials. The first version is almost never right. The best fragrances typically take 18 to 24 months from first concept to final formula.
